How to test DPF system on Volkswagen?

This guide shows you how to use VCP System to inspect the DPF system.

Preparations:

Install VCP System Diagnostic Tool Software

VCP System Professional Diagnostic Tool Software

VCP System Perform DPF Emergency Regeneration for Volkwagen

Connect VCP interface to the vehicle, then enter the menu and select “Guided Functions Assistant”.

Select “DPF” from the right bar.

Select “DPF Checking 2.0TDi/2.7-3.0 TDi”.

The procedure will load and display the DPF differential pressure of the Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF).

Ignition on

Engine idling

Select the car model/engine type.

The procedure will start.

Turn on the ignition.

Start the engine.

After pressing “Next“, the procedure will begin.
