How to do DPF Adaptation on Volkswagen Crafter?

This guide shows you how to use the VCP system to adjust the DPF after replacement for 2.0/2.7/3.0 TDi and VW Crafter.

Procedures:

Connect your VCP System interface to the vehicle, then navigate to the menu and select “Guided Functions Assistant.”

Select “DPF” from the right-hand bar.

Choose “DPF Adaptation after Replacement 2.0/2.7/3.0 TDi/VW Crafter.”

The procedure adapts the motor controller after installing a new DPF filter. It is compatible with 2.0/2.7/3.0 TDi vehicles and VW Crafter models equipped with EDC16.

Warning:
Some 2.0 TDI BlueMotion models have an error in the motor ECU software that prevents them from accepting the new adaptive value. The solution to this issue is to upgrade the engine ECU software.
